1947

In January 1947, Mr. Fred Mattes did an apprenticeship as an export manager in a relevant manufacturing company for surgical instruments of all kinds in Tuttlingen.

In the field of manufacturing surgical instruments, Mr. Mattes was able to gain good professional experience for later self-employment.

1967

The Fred Mattes company was founded on April 1, 1967 in Tuttlingen-Nendingen. The success of that time was the basis of today's company. Many customers came through the

Word of mouth about the Mattes company.

Since the export at that time was growing in many countries, the Mattes company was entered in the commercial register under number HRA 591 TU.

1989

At the end of 1989, Mr. Fred Mattes retired from the company.

1990

Then from January 1990 his son Jens Mattes took over the company and the company Mattesinstrumente GmbH

78532 Tuttlingen, Haldenstr. 27 changed.

A new entry in the commercial register was also necessary under HRB 450637 of December 28, 1990.

1998

In 1998, Mr. Jens Mattes also took over the management of the company.
